So Zig Zag today marks 17 days until Christmas Day!

 


I know.. how did that happen?!

 

 

That officially makes this a challenging time

for maintaining your health, fitness and fat loss.

 

 

The average woman puts on between 7-11lbs of fat

just in the week between Christmas and New Year.  

 

 

...Let alone the whole of December.

 

 

I know from our clients that the Christmas parties have started,

so we wanted to make the next 17 days NOT about dropping body fat,

like our Forever Kick Start Challenge does, but more of a:

 


17 Days of DAMAGE LIMITATION! 

 

 

Yes, there are some ladies that will still be gunning for their results

right up until Christmas Eve, but the reality is,

you will be easing off a bit, right?

 

 

So instead of doing the usual trick of

"Oh well, I've blown it now, I may as well go completely mental..."

 

 

How about setting some targets (not as scary as it sounds):

 

 

- Set your self a number of workouts to complete

between now and Christmas Eve and make sure you do them.

I gave you a  four minute workout last weekend.

Here it is again if you missed it 

 

 

Plan your nights out in your diary now

and commit to eating clean for 80%of the remaining meal.

 

 

Make a pact to say NO to alcohol just for the sake of it,

you'll be having enough over the festive season.

 


Simple Accountability

 

 

It takes a few small good habits to create great results.

And remember, for the next few weeks, it's not about

dropping loads of body fat, but to HALT in its tracks FAT STORAGE.

 

 

You need to get into the party dress, remember!

Start Your Day The Right Way...

 

 

Whether you know you have a day of rich festive

food and drink ahead of you, or you have woken up

with a tender head from the night before...

 

 

The VERY FIRST thing you should do is start your day off in the right way.   

 

I say all the time... WATER, WATER, WATER... 

 

2 - 3 Litres is optimum 

 

But during these weeks that you KNOW

you will be a bit more challenged than usual, go one step further....

 

The first thing you could do upon rising is

aim to alkalise your stomach and blood stream.  

 

When you over indulge in rich, sugar laden foods and drinks

(think alcohol!), it makes your body extremely ACIDIC.   

 

An acidic body is a breeding ground for disease, illness and FAT STORAGE. 

 

Turning your body ALKALINE as soon as you wake up will do you a massive favour in your battle against piling on the lbs this festive season.

 

Three ways to alkalise your system are:

 

1. Drink a cup of hot water with a slice of lemon upon rising.You can add ginger too.

 

2. Drink a large glass of cold water with a teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda upon rising.

with bag of energy and mental clarity.

Set yourself some goals for the next 19 days... and stick to them.
